According to the Center for Disease Control's Third National Report on Human Exposure to Environmental Chemicals (2005), there are 250 chemicals found in blood and urine samples (from a single person) at any given moment.  This report was released in 2005.  A prior report released in 2003 found “only” 148 chemicals in the samples.  The next report is scheduled to be released early this year.  It will be interesting to see what is found considering that there was almost a 70% increase in only two years.

The chemicals found have been linked to cancer, reproductive problems, birth defects, ADD, allergies, exhaustion, etc.  The combination of these chemicals in your body can be very taxing on your body’s resources.  This can leave you feeling tired, lethargic and not able to think clearly.
